Tenant FAQs

Answers to your frequently asked questions

Can you hold a place before I apply?

While we can't hold units without an application, submitting yours today is the best option! This gives you the best chance of securing the unit, especially if there are multiple interested parties. It only takes a few minutes to apply, and we'll process it promptly.

How old do you have to be to apply?

You must be at least 18 years old to submit an application.

Is the deposit refundable?

Near your move-out date, we'll conduct a joint inspection based on our established checklist. As long as there are no unpaid rent, damages beyond normal wear and tear, or incomplete cleaning, your deposit will be applied to your last month's rent.

Who needs a cosigner?

Anyone under 18 years of age or anyone who does not meet our credit score and/or income requirements.

You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?

How do I pay rent?

Our convenient online portal makes rent payment a breeze. Plus, setting up auto-pay ensures your rent is always paid on time, automatically. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace of mind.

I want to get a pet. What do I do?

While we love furry friends, pet policies vary by property owner. To inquire about pet allowances for a specific unit, please contact us. We'll be happy to provide information on the owner's pet preferences and any additional fees or requirements.

I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?

Moving on? We're here to help! To initiate your move-out process smoothly, please provide written notice at least 30 days before your desired move-out date. You can notify your property manager directly or submit a notice through your online portal. Additionally, if someone will be taking over your lease (assignment), they'll need to complete an application and be approved before we can proceed with the transition. We're happy to guide you through these steps!

My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?

Please notify us at least 30 days prior to your lease end!

Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?

We prioritize all maintenance requests, especially those related to safety. For your convenience and prompt response, please submit all repair requests through the maintenance section in your client portal. This ensures they enter our system directly and are assigned to a team member who will contact you quickly.

For emergencies only, please call our main phone line.

Regarding payment: In most cases, we handle the cost of repairs and maintenance. However, if the issue is deemed tenant-caused due to neglect or misuse, you'll be responsible for the associated costs. We'll clearly communicate any such situations and associated charges.
